What happens when we see you?

One or two people from the team will meet with you and your family. Appointments normally last between 45 minutes and an hour
We want to get to know you, so we will ask you some questions, listen to you and talk with your family. Initially we will meet you together with your family. We will then give you the opportunity to meet with us on your own.
We may ask about a range of things to help us understand the problems you are experiencing, such as your early life, your family, school, your interests, the things you are good at, and the things that are troubling you.
Sometimes we will speak to your school to find out how things are for you in school, and to help them know how to support you. From time to time, we will let your GP and care team at the hospital know how you are getting on.
