What to expect when you attend the Podiatry service

We will work with you to create a care plan that helps support you with your foot health.  You may wish to bring along a friend, family member, carer to your appointment.  If you need an interpreter this can also be arranged for you in advance of the appointment.

At the appointment:

  • The Podiatrist will introduce themselves to you, by name ensuring that you are fully aware of whom you are seeing that day.

  • We will ask you to share your story regarding your foot problem. This helps us work together to create a plan that helps you manage your podiatry care.
  • If your care plan requires more than one appointment,  this will be discussed with you.

  • Your care plan will be reviewed at every visit and you will be involved in making any changes to the agreed care plan.

We would welcome your feedback.  Please share your stories
