The Menopause service within Greater Glasgow and Clyde is available to all women, including those at high risk, those with premature ovarian insufficiency (early menopause), and women with menopause symptoms as a consequence of cancer treatments.

The service is consultant-led, and offers outpatient face to face appointments as well as telephone/remote consultations.

Our Staff:

Dr. J. Sassarini – New Victoria ACH, and Glasgow Royal Infirmary

Dr. M. Perera – Stobhill ACAD

Additional support is provided by links with other menopause specialists, and specialist clinics, e.g late effects of radiotherapy

How can I access this service?

This service is accessed by GP or consultant referral.

Where will I be seen?

Our clinics are held in Glasgow Royal Infirmary (Monday am) , the New Victoria Infirmary (Tuesday pm) and Stobhill ACAD (alt Wednesday am).



We are actively involved in research and clinical trials so that we may provide the best possible care for women. Women therefore have access to new treatments that are being developed.
