At Specialist Weight Management Service (SWMS) we understand that losing weight is not just about diet and exercise.
To lose weight successfully we have to change our behaviour and lifestyle. All patients at SWMS receive psychologically informed support to change their behaviour.
Not all patients require to be seen by psychology regarding their weight on a 1:1 basis. However all patients can access our psychology educational talks (self help advice) on a series of weight related topics as an additional support alongside the lifestyle programme.
