All routine dental care services in high street practices (including orthodontics), Public Dental Service Clinics (community clinics) and Glasgow Dental Hospital have been suspended.
DO NOT GO ALONG TO YOUR DENTAL PRACTICE, COMMUNITY CLINIC OR GLASGOW DENTAL HOSPITAL.
If you feel you have an EMERGENCY dental need, in normal working hours, you should contact your dentist on their usual number. They will provide advice, reassurance and telephone assessment, including the use of pain relief or prescribe antibiotics.
If your dentist confirms that you have an EMERGENCY dental need, you will be contacted again by a Health Board member of staff.
If you are currently a patient attending Glasgow Dental Hospital for specialist dental services and are experiencing dental issues that cannot wait at this time, please contact 0141 211 9730 or 0141 211 9607.
Outside normal working hours and at weekends, if feel you have an EMERGENCY dental need, please contact NHS 24 on 111.
If you are not registered with a dentist and have an EMERGENCY dental need, you should contact the Emergency Dental Treatment Centre on 0141 232 6323 during working hours and NHS 24 on 111 outwith normal working hours and at weekends. A walk in service is not available at this time.
