Attending your appointment

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde has issued a reminder that vaccinations are available by appointment only and is discouraging people from attending vaccination centres without one.

To avoid queues and issues with social distancing, please only arrive shortly before your appointment.

On the day of your appointment:

  • Please arrive as close to your appointment time as possible and bring this letter.
  • Please wear a face covering while travelling to and from and during your appointment, and remember to wash your hands regularly.

What will they be asked for when they arrive? An appointment letter? A reference number? And form of ID?

It is extremely important that you do not attend if:

  • You are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
  • You have tested positive in the last 28 days.
  • You are self-isolating as you are a close contact.
  • Or if you are awaiting results of a test.

If you develop symptoms you should self-isolate and reschedule your appointment for after the self-isolation period.
