CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)

*UPDATED* Hospital visiting changes, home testing kits, Vaccine info, general info and guidance for public, NHSGGC staff, and community-based services.

Become a volunteer

Volunteering within the NHS is designed to improve the patient experience.  This requires a longer term commitment to the role and focuses on support services to patients.   Volunteering at NHSGGC can offer a great opportunity to give something back to your local community.

Potential Volunteers will be risk assessed in accordance to NHS GGC COVID-19 volunteering guidance. All potential volunteers must be aged between 18 and 80 years old, fit and well with no underlying health conditions, and must complete the NHS Recruitment process, which includes appropriate clearance from Disclosure Scotland, and satisfactory reference checks.

Below are the opportunities we are currently offering but we will be adding more as they become available so please check back again if the type of role you are interested in is not listed.

If you have specific queries, you can contact us at [email protected].
