Who to contact if you are interested in our Volunteering Opportunities
Greater Glasgow & Clyde has a long history of involvement with volunteers - in the past most of that support has come from volunteers within our partner charitable organisations such as the RVS, 'Friends of' the various hospitals, Alzheimer Scotland and Therapet.
Volunteering within the NHS is designed to improve the patient experience. This requires a longer term commitment to the role and focuses on support services to patients. Volunteering at NHSGGC can offer a great opportunity to give something back to your local community.
Please note that volunteering should not be viewed as a work or educational placement and such requests must be liaised through the Learning and Educational team and not Volunteer Services.
Who to contact for our current volunteering opportunities in NHSGGC. Please provide contact details and someone will respond to you as soon as possible.

NHSGGC supports a range of work carried out by Charitable Organisations who also involve volunteers in a range of duties that take place on NHS premises. Volunteering opportunities for these organisations are usually advertised on their own websites.
