Staff security information - UK threat level

Following Monday's tragic events in Manchester, the Prime Minister, Teresa May, has increased the UK Terrorism Threat level from severe to critical.‎

There is no intelligence that there is any specific threat to Scotland, or the NHS specifically, and our service ‎delivery will remain in a business as usual position.

We do, however, ask staff to be extra vigilant and to report anything suspicious through your normal reporting arrangements. This includes any suspicious packages / objects or vehicles.

We also ask staff to ensure you wear your ID badges at all times ‎and take appropriate security precautions.

We appreciate your continued support and, should you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to discuss them with your line manager in the first instance.

Please share this information with colleagues, in particular, those who do not have access to a computer.
