Active Staff - Tai Chi Classes

We at Active Staff wanted to get in touch to let you know about our FREE Tai Chi class for staff at QEUH.

What is Tai Chi?

 Tai chi combines deep breathing and relaxation with slow and gentle movements. Originally developed as a martial art in 13th-century China, tai chi is today practised around the world as a health-promoting exercise.

Why should I give it a go?

  • Tai Chi is for everyone; you don’t have to be fit and active to take part
  • Tai Chi can help improve balance and general mobility
  • Tai Chi can help to reduce stress

When and where is the class held?

When: 5:15pm - 6:15pm, every Thursday

Where: Seminar Room 1, Ground Floor, Lab Building, QEUH
