To support staff development, staff need access to a range of communication skills (including attitudes and behaviours) training options. The learning objectives/outcomes of each training event should be clearly described to enable staff to quickly identify the course most relevant to their learning needs.
This Communication Skills Training Framework is an easily accessible ‘themed matrix’ detailing what is available, the target group(s) and the proposed learning outcomes for all staff to view. Using a blended learning approach the education options will range from classroom based or face to face training to online modules and in some cases signpost to other useful links and resources.
