Financial Improvement Programme Manager – Helena Renwick
Helena Renwick is a Prince2 practitioner with experience working in a continuous improvement / best value environment across a variety of industry sectors. Helena has led a number of large business and technical change programmes for companies such as Scottish Enterprise, Skills Development Scotland, BT, RBS and Glasgow City Council.
Helena joined NHSGGC in March 2016 to work with Acute services and all six of our HSCP partners to agree a data set that would be valuable in the joint provision of care to patients receiving both Acute and Social Work services, she then worked with NHS and Council Technical Teams and various external partner organisations to work towards integrating each council care system with our Clinical Portal in order for the data to be shared successfully. Helena joined the Financial Improvement team in October 2018 and has been managing the Medical Workforce and Financial Grip and Control programmes over the past year, Helena has now been aligned to work closely with Estates and Facilities on some exciting initiatives.
Business Analyst / Project Lead – Aileen Kelly
Aileen Kelly is a Prince2 practitioner with experience working across the Private and Public Sector in sales, marketing and project management. Aileen has worked in the Board since 2007 in HSCP and Corporate teams.
Aileen has been part of the financial Improvement Team since April 2018 and provides data, project and business analyst support to different Sectors and Directorates depending on their needs. One of the key areas that Aileen currently works on is looking at controlling spend and across a number of non-clinical areas. Aileen also provides Project Management support to the Human Resources and Organisational Development Senior Management Group.
Project Officer - Emma Docherty
Emma Docherty joined the Financial Improvement Programme Management Office (PMO) in August 2018 as a Project Officer and is the main point of contact for the FIP Programme. Emma provides general administrative duties within the PMO, for example, preparing reports for the FIP Board meeting. Emma also leads on the Small Change Matters work, answering all ideas that are sent in, forwarding them on to relevant teams. Emma has worked for the Board since 2013, firstly in Specialist Children’s Services and then in Clinical Governance Support Unit before moving to Corporate Finance in 2018.
Emma completed AAT in Accounting Level 2 with Distinction in February 2018 and is currently studying level 3, and has been putting her studying to use working with the Management Accounts Team to gain experience on the Financial Ledger (eFinancials).
