Public consultation about the future configuration of services provided by the Vale of Leven Hospital was undertaken by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde between 31st October 2008 and 30th January 2009.
The outcome of the consultation was reviewed by the Board of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde on 24th February 2009 and a series of recommendations were thereafter formally submitted to Ms Nicola Sturgeon, Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing.
The Cabinet Secretary subsequently confirmed and announced her decisions on 16th July. You can read this in the letter issued to NHSGGC Chairman, Andrew Robertson OBE.
