About Cancer Support Scotland

Cancer Support Scotland is a charity dedicated to supporting people affected by cancer, their families and unpaid carers. Based at the Calman Centre, in the grounds of Gartnavel Hospital, with outreach services across Scotland.

The charity was founded by Sir Professor Kenneth Calman, in 1980, to support the wellbeing of people affected by cancer. The charity continues to offer a relaxed and friendly place where those affected by cancer can get access to emotional and physical support. A range of wellbeing services are on offer including counselling, complementary therapies, podiatry and stress management workshops.
