New Stobhill Hospital

  • I want to highlight the amazing care I received from nurse Lynsey MCConnell. She was excellent in talking me through the process of my injury and how to manage the recuperation... her professionalism coupled with her empathetic manner was exemplary and a credit to the NHS Management need to acknowledge staff like this and make sure they are doing all they can to minimise the pressure staff are under to deliver this level of care by providing the resources (staff) required to operate more efficiently.
  • Stobhill Hospital (New) I was in for an ECG and I sent into minor injuries to ask if they could check my shoulder which I had attended A and E at the Royal the week before. They checked and were able to reassure me that the bruising and swelling were okay. I really appreciated the check since I was concerned and my follow up appointment at the Royal was not until the following week.
  • Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to take this opportunity to commend the care and attention I experienced when I visited the Minor Injury Unit at New Stobhill Hospital last night ( 22nd June 2019 ) I had suffered an accident when out cycling and had a very nasty crescent-shaped wound in my lower leg. Some fifty minutes later I left with my limb in much better shape complete with some eight stitches and appropriate advice about rehab. WELL DONE THE MINOR INJURY UNIT AT NEW STOBHILL HOSPITAL

Vale of Leven Hospital

  • I would like to give all the staff of the Vale of Leven Hospital a great big thank you.

My four-year-old daughter Bonnie had an accident at her wonderful nursery and as a result, ended up with a fractured arm.

It only took one hour from her entering the hospital to her walking out after receiving wonderful treatment which included X-rays to confirm and locate the break, pain relief as no doubt it was hurting, a plaster cast and a complete rundown for us as parents on what to do next and what to look out for.

I can only thank all those concerned in her treatment from the bottom of my heart.

New Victoria Hospital

  • I went to minor injuries unit for my crooked little toe and received wonderful care. All the staff are very caring and I feel much better. Also, the waiting times are not long.
  • I attended MIU last night after a fall hurting my wrist and was very happy with the quick treatment. From intake to final diagnosis took 40 minutes. Nurses and x-ray staff were great. Only suggestion would be for staff to introduce themselves when treating you or wear visible name badges such as #Hellomynameis yellow badges used in other hospitals. This is only a minor thing and the main thing is the excellent care I received from the health service. Cannot fault the care at all and think that this should be highlighted rather than just negative comments. Thank you to all the staff I met last night at Victoria MIU.
  • Victoria Hospital (New) Seen in minor injuries unit. All staff were very friendly, especially reception staff and nurse who treated me.
  • I attended MIU today at the Victoria infirmary. Needless to say, I was a little anxious but the staff were superb. Nurses explained everything each step of the way and were reassuring throughout. Everyone was very professional and easily understood information at the end of the procedure. The areas were clean and easily accessible and staff took account of some other health issues which I have. All in all, as positive an experience as it could be! 10. I attended MIU Stobhill Sat 28th Dec following double ankle injury on Xmas eve. Reception staff were polite and helpful although it is not too clear which side first to approach. Maybe too many signs on glass windows. The nurse was professional, understanding and helpful for further actions to assist recovery.
