Glasgow N W,Community Adult Mental Health - Excellent care from Arndale Resource Centre staff e.g. Dr Brown, Dr Bindra, Gillian (who has now gone to work in Australia).

Gartnavel Royal Hospital, Community Mental Health Team - I hope I have filled out the correct form, I was issued a health visitor, I was suicidal near the end of my pregnancy, he did home visits for me, I can now say I'm back to normal and with Gary's help. He was amazing came in talked over my issues and always picked up Freddie my new born for a cuddle. Many thanks.

Inverclyde Royal Hospital, Urology - My son, who has an autistic spectrum disorder, attended a number of times to treat and monitor a broken leg. The nurses were absolutely fabulous, and went out of their way on a very busy ward to make sure he and I felt supported given the particular difficulties he faced, and the stress I was under. Many thanks!

Inverclyde Royal Hospital, General Surgery - My mother was recently admitted for surgery and the attention she received from everyone was excellent.

Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Urology - I was recently admitted as an emergency to Urology Ward 11C at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and during my stay (which later involved emergency surgery) I met with nothing but kindness, professionalism and an extremely high degree of cleanliness. A 5 star experience if that can be judged.

Gartnavel General - I would like to commend staff nurse Martha Murray who works in the Orthopaedics Team. She demonstrates all the qualities you would look for in a nurse, Kindness, patience, professionalism and a genuine caring attitude. She is a credit to her profession.

Skye House, Inverclyde - Everything is very open with a really clear clarification of the challenges. It was truly informative. Their site is useful. Thank you for sharing!

Royal Hospital for Sick Children - In the early hours of Christmas Day I took my 3 year old to children's A&E at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. We spend over 4 hours in the hospital and in various departments and I couldn't fault the treatment my son received. I'd like to praise all of the staff that helped him with his medical care but also extra thanks to everyone for putting a bit of Christmas magic into our morning too - with gifts that Santa left at the hospital and plenty of Christmas cheer! My son did get home to join his big brother and was by then well enough to open his presents Santa left and join the rest of the family for Christmas dinner, thanks to the efforts of all the NHS staff. Thanks, from a grateful mummy x

Glasgow Royal Infirmary, A & E - I was treated for an infected pet bite in the minor injuries unit in the morning of the 28th and a young blonde female doctor (I don't recall the name) was extremely helpful and friendly. I wasn't feeling great in general for private reasons and being treated that nicely definitely helped. Thanks a lot!

Royal Alexandra Hospital, A & E - I brought my father in law into A&E on the afternoon of Xmas eve after he had been experiencing pain and discomfort for three or four weeks and had deteriorated over last couple of days and we were concerned he had had a stroke. I know that people are very quick to complain and moan about the NHS but I would very much like to say that the service and attention that he received was outstanding from the minute we arrived until he was taken to a ward to be further investigated. In particular I would like to commend the doctor who saw him in A&E who was truly fantastic in her manner and detail. I don't recall her name but she was a fantastic credit to the NHS. I think her name may have been Gillian or Allison but not sure. I would be most grateful if you could pass on the sincere thanks to everyone who was involved in his care at a time when most people are fortunate enough not to be working. The staff was fantastic!!

Victoria Hospital - Recently had surgery as a day patient...all staff .nurses, doctors, surgeons were outstanding... They were caring and professional. I cannot praise or thank them enough.

Victoria Hospital - Thank you very much for putting in additional seating without tables in the atrium at the New Victoria after I asked for that. Really appreciate it. Feedback via Support and Information Service Royal Alexandra Hospital - I have had surgery on two occasions recently in Ward 29 RAH Paisley. I cannot praise the teams enough both at my outpatients appointments and my stay in ward 29 (Mr McKirdy's clinic) I would like to make a special mention to a few individuals who have particularly stood out for me....However you have requested I do not identify anyone in particular.

Royal Alexandra Hospital - I would like to say a huge thank you to the RAH maternity unit staff. I am currently 30 weeks pregnant and have received nothing but the best care so far through my pregnancy. They have responded to my individual needs with diligence, thoroughness and compassion. Leaving me and my partner very reassured our baby will be brought into the world in an excellent hospital full of kind attentive staff.

Royal Alexandra Hospital - A&E staff great when my son was admitted through A&E a couple of days after day surgery procedure, very attentive and kept us updated after talking to on call surgeon to organise admission to surgical ward. Ward 24 nurses were great too, really looking after my son, taking time to explain and go over his test results when I was asking lots of questions like the paranoid annoying mother I am.

Vale of Leven District General Hospital - My husband had a recent operation on his hand, performed by Miss Betts. She could not have been more caring or professional and the nursing staff had that wonderful mixture of professional care and humour which is so needed in post operative care. Thank you NHS.

Royal Alexandra Hospital - I was admitted on Friday 11th December via ambulance. The paramedics were fantastic and made my journey to the hospital as comfortable as possible, even though I was in pain. After an x-ray I was taken to Ward 2 and I can honestly say that the medical staff (nurses) were so nice and always making sure I was ok (as could be). Even when I was moved to Ward 14, my experience was the same. The nurses were fantastic and really made me feel cared for and I wasn't just a number. They always used my name when talking to me and cheered me up even though I was not at my best. I would like them to be thanked, praised and for them to know that they made a huge difference in a positive way during my experience as a patient at your hospital. A million thanks.

Royal Hospital for Sick Children - I would really like to thank Donna McCue from the Orthotics Dept at the Kids Hospital. Her good humour and care for my daughter have made our appointments easier to deal with. Made us feel comfortable and well cared for.

Royal Alexandra Hospital - Last year I left bad feedback regarding patient catering. My husband was recently a patient in RAH and what a difference in the food. I must congratulate you for acting on comments left. Food was far more appetising. Very tasty my husband said. This is more what patients require to aid their recovery. Well done.

Queen Elizabeth University Hospital - I would like to offer you thanks on behalf of my late father for the kindness and compassion shown both to him and to us as relatives during his brief stay in the hospital. The facility itself was excellent with the private rooms being particularly good, allowing us be with my Dad round the clock for his last couple of days. The staff were outstanding in all regards. The doctors (and nursing staff) kept us updated and informed regarding the illness itself and the treatment plan. The nursing and auxiliary staff looked after both my father - keeping him clean and as comfortable as possible - and us ensuring that we had tea, toast, seats and kind words when required. They should be proud of you. Thanks.

Queen Elizabeth University Hospital - Wonderful friendly professional staff in A&E and CCU got me through a tricky week despite being short staffed overstretched and often struggling with flu-like symptoms! Thanks all

Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Palliative Care - I would like to say how well my mum was looked after in the Intensive Care Unit East at Glasgow Royal Infirmary by the medical team who treated her, the whole team worked together and kept my family fully updated with my mum's treatment. The team were very professional and a credit to their profession. My mum unfortunately passed away but my dad and I were very impressed with the way my mum was cared for. My dad and I cannot thank the medical enough for their care, support and compassion.

Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Physiotherapy - I recently had knee replacement surgery at the hospital. The experience was wonderful. All aspects of my care was first class from nursing to physio and of course the surgery itself. The room itself was just lovely and the food well presented hot and very yummy. Every member of staff was professional and made me feel at ease

Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Cardiology - Thank you to nurses and doctors of the Cardiology unit of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Glasgow for your wonderful treatment and genuine concern for my health during my brief stay with you this week. They gave me such reassurance that I was in the best of hands. Thank you all very much. Have a wonderful Christmas.
