Child and Adolescent Mental Health - Forensic Service Tel: 0141 276 3835

The work of this service involves forensic risk assessments, risk management, and psychological treatments to reduce offending or antisocial behaviours. This service works with children and adolescents involved in serious or persistent offending behaviour with complex emotional behavioural and mental health problems. The child aspect of this service targets under 12’s on potential offending pathways and the service for adolescents concentrates on serious offending, youth justice services and secure accommodation.

Referral Information Referrals can be received from a range of professionals and services including Social Work youth Justice Teams, Social Work Child and Family Teams, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry In-Patient Units, Substance Misuse Teams, Secure Units, Children’s Reporter, and Voluntary Sector Agencies involved in youth offending.
