Patient Experience & Public Involvement

At NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde we are always working to better listen to people and understand what's working well and where we can do better. The Patient Experience & Public Involvement (PEPI) team help to support members of the public and NHSGGC staff to communicate with each other, share ideas and improve services together.

To achieve this we are always working toward the followig;

  • Ensuring a quality patient experience is at the heart of everything we do.
  • Helping staff, patients and carers listen to each other to make sure everyone has the best care experience possible.
  • Working with patients, carers, families, the public and staff to keep them informed and involved in improving their NHS.

Along with the above we are continually working to the Scottish Government's guidelines on involving people, and the legal requirements set out in the Patient Rights (Scotland) Act to involve people to continually improve services.
