We held a Public Consultation Event on Wednesday 29 March at Lightburn Hospital to speak to patients, their families, carers and interested groups.
The event offered presentation with question and answer sessions as well as series of information stations on different elements of the proposal. At each station the clinical, managerial and planning staff who developed the proposal were on hand to answer questions and hear feedback. The event enabled us to explain the proposals, encourage discussion, answer any questions and note views. As part of the consultation process the feedback we heard will help shape the future of rehabilitation services for older people in the North East of Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire.
We were also able to describe the detailed planning and answer questions about the new East End Health and Social Care hub being developed by the Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership.
