Cancer Genetics

Welcome to the Cancer Genetics Service

The Cancer Genetics service is situated in the Laboratory Medicine Building of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The service provides comprehensive counselling to individuals with a family history and / or a personal history of cancer. 

This process involves constructing detailed and confirmed family histories, risk assessment, arranging screening and or genetic analysis /  testing where appropriate and providing ongoing support. 

The service also participates in various U.K and international research studies.
