Post Graduate, Non-medical prescribing and Allied Health Professionals (AHPs)


A document designed to provide an overview of the expectations of your role if acting as practice supervisor or practice assessor for trainees undertaking Pg advanced practice modules or programmes has been developed. For example, Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP), Post Graduate Specialist Practitioner Qualification in District Nursing (SPQDN), Allied Healthcare Professionals (AHP), Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS); or standalone modules.


To outline the continued support of AHPs with nurse education a newsletter supported by Susan Shandley (Programme Lead, AHP Practice Education Programme, NES) has been made available outlining role and responsibilities.
