A national framework for practice supervisors, practice assessors and academic assessors in Scotland has been developed to provide guidance for the implementation of the these new roles in line with the Standards for student supervision and assessment (NMC 2018), click here to access. The Future Nurse and Midwife Programme Board communications group have published the sixth in a series of newsletters. The latest edition (March 2021) looks at the progress that has taken place since the last newsletter was published in January 2020.
In addition, a special Midwifery newsletter (March 2021) has been published and looks at the progress that is taking place in relation to the implementation of the new midwifery standards and programmes of education in Scotland
The primary purpose of this group is to oversee the implementation and delivery of the NMC Standards of proficiency for registered nurses and midwives and the Standards for education and training across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
