Practice Education Facilitator & Care Home Education Facilitators (PEF/ CHEF) Teams

Welcome to our teams!

We are two teams within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde: one team supporting acute services and the other supporting partnerships and care homes.

We are registered professionals with backgrounds in all fields of nursing and midwifery: contributing to ensure that our nursing workforce is fit for purpose and practice.

We do this by supporting learning in practice and working closely with nursing and midwifery staff to create and foster quality learning environments, mentoring a variety of learners from pre-registration nursing students to staff undertaking post-registration qualifications. We provide a link between service and our partner educational institutions. In addition, we provide support and information for staff undertaking development programmes such as NHS Flying Start®.

Thank you for visiting our site and for your ongoing support.

Tracy Donaldson (Lead PEF – partnerships and care homes)

David Lamont (Lead PEF – acute services)
