Access to CAIR is simply by way of an online form you need to complete which, when activated with your manager’s approval, will allow you automatic and full access to CAIR via the Care Assurance icon on your desktop (it doesn't work from a generic account).

The first five fields are your details; then from the dropdown menu under Microstrategy dashboard, you should select 'Care Assurance Information Resource (CAIR)', the following three fields are only required of HSPC, AHP and Adult MH Team requests. Within 'How can we help you?', you should simply ask for CAIR access, then acknowledge access to patient information by ticking the box.
The next few fields you need to complete are your manager’s name, designation and email address. Once submitted, you may well then be asked to confirm your email address by clicking on a link to an automated email and provide a password.
This then sets in motion an approval from your manager and your access will then be confirmed by the origin intelligence team.
