Commissioned Programmes

Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) Learning Opportunities in partnership with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (GGC).

Since January 2019, the NHS GG&C Mental Health Improvement Contract Working Group has been working in partnership with SAMH to deliver a program of learning opportunities to support increased knowledge and understanding about mental health.

From July to December 2021 the following online learning sessions will be on offer;

  • Maintaining Wellbeing, Building Resilience
  • An Introduction to Suicide Prevention
  • Mental Health Supporting Others
  • Mental Health Supporting Customers and Mental Health in the Workplace – A Guide for Managers.

Sessions are delivered via MS Teams and Zoom. The links on this page contain promotional flyers with information on each learning opportunity including learning outcomes, who can apply to attend, dates and times. Sign up can be done via [email protected]

4. Webinar Series: Mental Health in the Workplace – A Guide for Managers

Session for managers working within workplaces across Greater Glasgow and Clyde, including those supported by the Healthy Working Lives Programme. Please see below available dates: 

 All bookings for these sessions will be made on Eventbrite - we encourage individuals to register a place for themselves, rather than have someone register on their behalf. This ensures sessions can easily be accessed on the day.

Case study

Using the WAP and sharing other resources from the session has opened up our team discussions around wellbeing. This has given me a much clearer insight into how my staff are feeling and managing with the pressures of our work and also personal issues that may impact on them within the work they do. Using the WAP helped us focus on MH&WB, to identify impact and issues at an earlier stage while working together to develop solutions and access supports.
