We are looking forward to working alongside you and excited to welcome you to NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

As you’ll be aware your medical career starts with us on either 21st or 28th Of July.  We are working hard behind the scenes to get everything in place to make your new role as FY1 as enjoyable as possible. 

Over the course of the Shadowing period (21st of July - 3rd Aug) we will be providing a induction programme.  Details about the programme’s content and what you will be required to complete as part of your induction are available below to view and in .pdf to download. 


You will need an ID Badge to work within NHSGGC premises, and we would like to have these ready by the time you join us.  To help us with this, we need a photograph of you and would ask that you please complete the form accessed via the link below:

**As we need to comply with current social distancing requirements, and there is limited space within the Glasgow Royal Infirmary, we plan to broadcast to your own device – be that Laptop / phone.  We will have some limited spaces within the Glasgow Royal for you if you will not be able to access from outwith the hospital site – however, we would be grateful if you would please let us know in advance if you will need to come on site to access the induction sessions, to allow us to safely accommodate.
