Submitting an Application

This information here covers requests only for Curricular Health and Wellbeing input for Education Settings by Health Improvement staff. For examples of Curricular Inputs please click here.

All such curricular input requests can be submitted to HIEG using the application form. The HIEG would assess the application on a case by case basis and approve the application, if appropriate.

The Overall Process Flowchart illustrates the process for submitting HWB education (curricular) and community input from Health Improvement teams for quality assurance.  For timescales and process relating to educational settings click here.

Please Note:

While submitting applications, health improvement staff should be aware that the HIEG will consider curricular HWB inputs that are developed, delivered or funded by Health Improvement and where Health Improvement is the lead organisation. Prior to purchasing licenses for curricular programmes, staff are advised to gain approval from HIEG by following the QA application process. Where Health Improvement staff are involved in a partnership working group for developing a curricular input, but an External Agency is the lead organisation, then the application should be submitted by the lead external agency via the external agencies application process.

  • Before applying, discuss and agree applications with your manager and or appropriate lead.
