Quality Assurance for Health Improvement inputs into Education Setting

The Health Improvement in Education Group (HIEG) is the central vehicle for the planning, co-ordination and exploration of any health and wellbeing inputs into education. The HIEG aims to support education and health colleagues by providing an agreed process for assessing all Health and Wellbeing (HWB) inputs into education settings. This encompasses a process for submission and approval of requests from Health Improvement staff. All requests from external agencies should be submitted via the external agencies application process as outlined in the Glasgow City Council (GCC) Education Service Partnership working in health and wellbeing curriculum guidance notes.

This section contains information on how to submit an application for a Health Improvement input within an educational setting. This quality assurance process refers only to curricular health and wellbeing requests in education settings by Health Improvement staff. For examples of Curricular Inputs, please click here.

Please refer to the information detailed below prior to submitting an application.
