Individuals and teams from across Greater Glasgow and Clyde have been shortlisted for this year’s national Scottish Health Awards.
The Scottish Health Awards are the most prestigious and recognised awards for health professionals across NHS Scotland. They recognise healthcare staff that go the extra mile to improve the health and wellbeing of the people of Scotland.
This year NHSGGC staff have been shortlisted in seven award categories. From support workers, therapists, optometrists to teams who provide care for long term illnesses and the top team award, all have been picked for the amazing work they do in providing our patients with the best service we can offer.
Jane Grant, Chief Executive said: “We have a lot to be proud of in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and nothing more so than the dedication, skills and compassionate care delivered by our healthcare professionals.
“That so many of our staff were nominated by patients, carers and fellow professionals for these national awards is recognition of the quality care and patient centred approach we strive to deliver to every patient every time.”
