Carers in Greater Glasgow and Clyde are being encouraged to take part in a series of events which will look at the key issues around supporting bladder and bowel health.
Part of World Continence Week, the full day events are aimed at health professionals, carers and people affected by bladder and bowel issues.
Dr Rona Agnew said: “We want to hear from people in the community, to start a conversation around what is one of the last taboos. It’s not all about just relying on continence products, there are treatments out there which can literally change people’s lives.
“Come along to hear about the latest treatments available at one of our free events.”
The free Glasgow events will be held on 21 June (Pearce Institute, Govan Road), on 22 June (Firhill Stadium) and on 23 June in the Parklands Hotel, Newton Mearns.
The Greenock session will be held on 20 June in the Tontine Hotel on Ardgowan Square.
Each session will run from 9am-4pm and can be booked by calling 0141 531 8612 or emailing [email protected] . Places are limited so please book before 15 June.
