Elaine Love, Head of Nursing for Women and Children, said: “We were pleased to note the number of positive findings at the Princess Royal Maternity Unit by the HEI inspectors.”
“While we were pleased that the inspectors noted that 100 per cent of patients they interviewed were positive about the cleanliness of the wards and that the report highlights that there was good communication with patients, staff and visitors. We recognise that there are areas we need to improve and we are actively working with our staff to ensure that the requirements from this inspection are fully implemented..
“We are committed to learning from the feedback we receive from inspections such as this and directly from our patients. We encourage our patients to share their views and comments on our services through our online patient feedback system – available on our website.”
