NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Statement on Telecoms Issue

December 12, 2014 7:12 PM

At around 11am this morning a problem was identified with the external phone lines to parts of the Gartnavel Campus. This has not affected internal lines between departments and as such there has been no disruption to patient care. Clinical areas have been provided with temporary alternative lines to allow them to make outgoing calls. We do recognise however that relatives phoning in to get an update on patients will have been inconvenienced and we apologise for this. BT are working to resolve the problem which they have now confirmed lies out with the hospital campus telephone network. ENDS For further information either telephone 0141 201 4429 or email [email protected]
