The St Mirren Manager, Danny Lennon has officially unveilled a new state-of-the-art CT scanner at the Royal Alexandra Hospital (RAH).
The new scanner combines the latest technology with high specification image quality and provides huge improvements for both staff and patients. It is much faster and provides more detailed images assisting with early diagnosis and subsequent treatment.

“This is the latest in technology with the RAH being the first hospital in Greater Glasgow and Clyde to have a scanner with such a high specification.”
Danny Lennon, St Mirren Manager said he was delighted to unveil the new CT scanner.
He added: “St Mirren FC has always had a great relationship with the RAH and I feel very privileged to have been asked to perform this ceremony for the RAH.
“This scanner is a tremendous piece of equipment operated by a wonderful group of staff. They do a fantastic job and if I, or any of my players, can help out in any small way then it is our duty as first and foremost we are a community club.”
