An annual service organised by staff at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children for families who have lost a baby, child or young person, is taking place this Sunday, December 5.

It is being held in St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral in Great Western Road, Glasgow, at
2.30pm and Reverend Alister Bull, Head of Yorkhill Chaplaincy Services, said:

“The multi-denominational service provides bereaved families with an opportunity to remember in togetherness and hope the young family members they have lost and to acknowledge how precious their life meant to them as a family.

“A number of families will be taking part in the service as will hospital staff.”
