A special delivery of gifts has been dropped off at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children from the Buchanan Galleries’ New Year Toy Amnesty.
Buchanan Galleries' customers have been dropping off new, unwanted Christmas gifts and toys to the Amnesty since January 2, when the appeal was launched.
And glamourous River City stars Jayd Johnstone, June Brogan and Laura McMonagle were on hand to hand over the presents and spend time playing and chatting with the children.
Buchanan Galleries Marketing Manager, Samantha Stewart said: "We'd like to thank all of our customers for their overwhelming generosity and kind support towards the New Year Toy Amnesty.
Along with the public, Buchanan Galleries' stores such as John Lewis, Red 5, G4 and the Build-a-Bear Workshop have shown their support for the appeal by donating some of their best selling toys - all which will contribute to making time spent at the hospital more enjoyable for young patients.
“We're thrilled with the response and hope that the toys will help make a difference to the children at Yorkhill."
