New Move Brings Services Together

April 25, 2007 10:18 AM

Social work and health staff have officially moved to a new office building in Giffnock.
As part of the new community health and care partnership for the area it’s hoped that the move will mean much closer working for health and social work professionals.
Chair of the board that brings the services of East Renfrewshire Council and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde together Councillor Danny Collins said as he toured the building in Burnfield Road, Giffnock: “The partnership brings two very distinct public services together and this new building will not only be their headquarters but it will help forge much closer working between them that will have a positive benefit for the local community.”
The headquarters for social work and local health services is at 1 Burnfield Avenue, Giffnock.
