Latest Statement on MRSA Cases

There continues to be five patients in two wards across Greater Glasgow and Clyde being treated for an MRSA infection.
The medical ward at the Southern General still has three patients and the Intensive Therapy Unit at Inverclyde Royal Hospital still has two patients.   Both wards remain closed to new admissions.
Standard infection control precautions are in place at the two wards and the situation is being closely monitored.
