As from Saturday, April 1st, 2006 NHS Greater Glasgow and part of NHS Argyll and Clyde will merge and become NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

To make life as easy as possible for our media colleagues there will be one media desk and any press questions should be directed to 0141 201 4429 both in office hours and out of hours.


Notes to News Editors

NHS Argyll and Clyde is being dissolved as of Saturday, April 1st,and split between NHS Greater Glasgow and NHS Highland.

The areas now covered by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde will include Renfrewshire, Inverclyde and West Dunbartonshire.

Any press enquiries about the Vale of Leven Hospital, Royal Alexandra Hospital, Inverclyde Royal, Dykebar, Ravenscraig, Johnstone and Dumbarton Joint Hospital should be directed to 0141 201 4429.
