John McIntosh, a restricted patient failed to return from a period of unescorted leave of absence from the grounds of Stobhill Hospital in Glasgow on 1 March. 

He is 41 and is 5' 4", of heavy build, with brown receding hair and a moustache.  He was wearing jeans, black jacket and trainers.

Mr McIntosh is not considered to be an immediate risk to the public. However, the authorities are keen to trace him as soon as possible as they are concerned for his safety. If any member of the public sees the man, they should contact the police or the hospital.
