Chief communications adviser to the Chief Executive, Chairman and the Board, Sandra has 27 years experience working in Glasgow’s NHS with 25 of these in the field of corporate communications.
Sandra provides strategic advice to the organisation on all aspects of internal and external communications, reputation management and stakeholder communications.
She is responsible for developing communications strategies and plans for the organisation, crisis communications, campaign planning and delivery, insights and evaluation, developing the Board’s digital communications strategy, social media strategy and policy development, social marketing and marketing of services, and professional development.
As part of her role, Sandra plays a major part in a number of regional and national communications groups charged with formulating communications strategy for the NHS locally, regionally and nationally.
Her remit also includes writing, editing and publishing Health News, our digital magazine for the public which is published every two months and keeps the public informed about our news and developments.
