Information for Clients

The Trauma and Homelessness Team is a mental health team for individuals whose current difficulties relate to complex trauma and who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

'Complex trauma' refers to long-term, interpersonal abuse, occurring on multiple occasions and often beginning early in life (Herman, 1997).

The team offers a range of psychological therapies that are shown to be effective in treating complex trauma.
