You can find the  Support and Information Service at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, New Stobhill and New Victoria Hospitals.

All hospital users, including patients, relatives, visitors and staff ,can access information on:

  • money advice
  • employment
  • support for carers and young carers
  • help with literacy
  • NHS concerns
  • information in other languages
  • lifestyle issues: smoking, healthy eating & weight management, alcohol, physical activity, stress
  • links to community services
  • any other information needs

EQUIPU is a service responsible for providing, delivering and installing a range of disability equipment supplied by health and social work services to disabled people living at home.

Confident Caring – support and advice for carers in the east and north-east of Glasgow

You could join the Confident Caring group if you:

  • are looking after someone who is seriously ill with heart failure, lung
    disease, kidney failure, dementia, advanced cancer or other illnesses
  • would like information and advice to help you to care for your family
    member or friend with more confidence
  • would like to meet up with other people in a similar situation to
    yourself in a relaxed environment
