The NHS inform Cancer Zone is full of practical and emotional support you can trust.
It has been developed in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support to help you or someone you know who is living with cancer.
We are a Scottish Charity and are here to support people affected by cancer. The charity has its main centre at Gartnavel Hospital, Glasgow and has a number of support groups covering Scotland.
Cancer Support Scotland, formally known as Tak Tent, offers one to one talking therapy (counselling) and complementary therapies to people affected by cancer including family and friends, before, during and after treatment.
We also bring people together in community support groups to discuss their feelings and anxieties when faced with a cancer diagnosis. We offer our services free of charge and rely on donations and legacies from the public to allow us to continue to support the people who need us most.
Maggie's is about empowering people to live with, through and beyond cancer by bringing together professional help, communities of support and building design to create exceptional centres for cancer care.
Maggie’s Centres are for anyone affected by cancer. They are places where people are welcome whenever they need us – from just being diagnosed, or undergoing treatment, to post-treatment, recurrence, end of life or in bereavement. We also welcome family and friends, as they are often deeply affected by cancer too. We know that those who love and look after someone with cancer can feel just as frightened, vulnerable and uncertain.
