There are Community Health Partnerships (CHPs) and Community Health and Care Partnerships (CHCPs) across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde which manage a wide range of local health services delivered in health centres, clinics and homes. Primary care mental health services are for people with mild or moderate mental health problems such as depression, stress and anxiety. This type of service is delivered through the CH(C)P by local Primary Care Mental Health Teams. Community care mental health services are also delivered by the CH(C)Ps and are multi-agency health and social care services for people with more severe or complex mental health care needs.
Some patients living in the Rutherglen/Cambulang Northern Corridor, which sits inside the NHSGGC boundary but geographically in Lanarkshire, have community mental health services provided by South Lanarkshire CHP, with in-patient services provided at Leverndale.
Go to your CH(C)P to find out more about local mental health services.
