You might feel that you've lost control of your emotions. You might weep or laugh a lot – sometimes at the wrong time. You might sometimes be a lot more emotional than normal and may have emotional outbursts. These problems are often upsetting for you as well as for your family and carers.
Don't worry, this is a common problem and is NOT a sign of madness or dementia, it often improves over time and talking about your problem to a family member or friend can often make you feel better about it. If you are particularly upset about the situation you should tell your doctor or practice nurse who can offer medicines that will help.
