Addictions services

The team work closely with all other teams within the Hunter Street Homeless Services.  The team offers a varied range of addictions interventions including: care management, substitute prescribing clinics, duty sessions, crisis management, mental health support, harm reduction, needle exchange, naloxone training and a fast responsive service to acute hospital referrals.  The team allocate according to identified need e.g.  health priorities or social issues.   The team operates an open access service from the hours of 9am - 4.45pm Monday to Friday.  The team accept referrals from multiple sources including self presentations.  The Homeless Addiction Team is an integrated health and social work team with a city wide homeless remit working with the most chaotic and vulnerable homeless and young adults in Glasgow.  Homeless Addiction Team:
