Is GCSWMS for You?

'To be eligible for GCSWMS you must be resident or have a GP who is registered  within Greater Glasgow & Clyde NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

You must also have a BMI higher than 45kg/m2 or higher than 30kg/m2 with additional health problems such as Diabetes, NAFLD Fibrosis or cirrhosis, Severe Psoriasis or Sleep Apnoea. Discuss referral with your GP or hospital doctor.


Self Refer

If you have BMI equal or greater than 30 and Diabetes you can call the self referral number 0141 211 3379 and a booking center administrator will assist you in making a referral.
