Staff at the Royal Hospital for Children got physical and some didn’t even leave their desks to exercise!
More than 120 staff took part in the [email protected] sessions organised by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and supported by our Activestaff team and the Glasgow Children’s Charity.
It’s a national campaign to help reduce sickness absence by promoting physical and mental wellbeing in the workplace.
Activestaff organised lunchtime taster sessions, including yoga, running and walking groups, and office block workouts.
And staff smashed the target of completing 15000 minutes of physical activity during the week long programme by logging a grand total of 16593 minutes!
Physiotherapist Stacy Ridley, was one of the organisers and she said: “We’d like to thank everyone who supported and congratulations to everyone who took part and made it such a great success!”.
