HOW TO APPLY
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is introducing a new Online Application form which will be hosted on the NHS Scotland Website www.jobs.scot.nhs.uk. This means we are phasing out the current MS Word Application form. Although we are changing to an Online Application form the information we will ask you to provide when you are applying for a job will remain the same.
The new On Line Application process means that we may no longer be able to accept pre printed /handwritten postal applications. However Job applicants needing IT support on completing on Line Application forms can visit their local library or click here to search for libraries in your area which have IT Facilities open to the public and details of free IT classes available
Applicants should read the candidate information pack and job description for the post prior to completing the online application form.
When completing the online application form applicants should read the instructions in each section and note the following:
On all pages - the application form has a time out therefore you should click on the "Save" button as you go through the form or copy and paste from another document, to avoid losing content.
On all pages - Please do not use any symbols when completing your application form
On page 4 - Role Purpose/Summary of Responsibilities is limited to limit of 1000 characters including spacing, circa 10 lines. Text over-running this limit may be cut off.
On page 5 – Supporting Statement should run to approximately 1 A4 page – circa 50 Lines. Longer supporting statements may cut off if longer than the limit is overrun.
