Workforce Information provides workforce statistics for both internal and external use. The information they supply is used throughout the organisation and is provided externally to the Scottish Government and in response to Freedom of Information requests.
Workforce Information also maintains and supports Greater Glasgow & Clyde’s HR system, which is currently accessed by 600 employees to obtain personnel, recruitment and training information across the organisation. In addition Workforce Information are involved in migrating data to the new, national Electronic Employee Support System (eESS).
