On Line Timesheet Quick Start Guide
You will now see an extra icon on the requirements screen on the action buttons. –It looks like a pen
This is the button you press to process timesheets. Time sheets cannot be completed until end of shift
This button should be red if there is a name against the shift you are about to process. If it is not red then either the person booked for shift has not been confirmed and you should confirm shift before proceeding to next step, or you do not have access to online timesheets and must contact the Staffbank contact centre as soon as possible for authorisation to be granted.
Only after the shift has been completed can you sign off an online timesheet. The system will not allow you to sign off before this time.
If for any reason a shift has been signed off wrongly then please complete the time sheet adjustment form and send to the staff bank.
Click on the “pen” icon and this will take you into the online timesheet, enter time shift started, time shift completed, length of break and yes if paid break, no if unpaid break.
Read counter fraud declaration and then tick box that you have read it. Check all details are correct then click ok. You will be asked again if details are correct if they are then click ok and timesheet is complete.
The “pen” icon will now turn green. If shift times are different to the shift booked then they can be changed when signing off the time sheet, however there will then be a drop down box which will ask you to give reason for change. Reasons for change must be recorded.
Once reasons given then complete as normal and click ok. Any amendments to banding or shift location must be recorded on a BSMS Amendment Form.
These are available for download from the electronic timesheet screen.
The completed amendment form should be sent from your work e-mail address as this is your signature to the the amendment form to the Staff Bank.
